Here we see the Federal & States Building at night, one of the most magnificent light and color effects of the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Reflected in the waters of the Lagoon it holds the visitors spellbound. Ten departments of the Government tell of their activities & achievements. The sides of the triangles are the Halls of Thirty States, whose flags & shields join with the unusual coloring of the building itself, & makes the interior court an outstanding accomplishment in modern architecture. |
