The Delta Phi Epsilon Chicago Alumnae Association invites you and anyone you know in the Chicago area to join and to participate in our upcoming quarterly events:

Wed. Dec. 7, 2005 (6:30 p.m.) Holiday Dinner at Reza's, 432 W Ontario St., Chicago, (312) 664-4500.
Wed. March 1, 2006 (evening TBA) Founder's Day Tea and International Rededication Ceremony with Beta Rho all initiated sisters invited to UIC campus, location TBD.
Wed. June 7, 2006 (evening TBA) Boat Cruise with spouse or guest (i.e. Odyssey or Spirit of Chicago Dinner Cruise)
Wed. Sept. 6, 2006 (6:30 p.m.) Planning Social for Holiday Dinner and the upcoming year

Want to join?

Annual membership dues are only $30! ($20 to the CAA and $10 to the International Sorority, all to cover administrative costs.) There has not been an increase in dues since the group was founded in 1999. Member dues cover ongoing CAA expenses, including membership in the Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic ($30 annually), website domain ($10 annually), recruitment mailings, House of Good Shepard philanthropy projects, and support of Beta Rho at UIC.

Prospective members are welcome and encouraged to attend a few events to help determine if they would like to become an active dues-paying member.

Ongoing Projects

House of Good Shepard (HOGS). A women's domestic violence shelter, where volunteers play with children while their moms are in an after-care support group on the third Sunday of each month from 1:15 - 3:30 p.m. Contact Michelle Tanios for more information at [email protected].
Each November Michelle Tanios collects donations for an adopted family from HOGS, where she purchases gifts to make the holidays special. Often these kids don't have a wrapped present to open. Last year more than $200 was collected to make Christmas special for a family; the previous year, $300 was collected.
Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic (CAP). CAP's annual Scholarship Tea will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the Le Meridien Hotel, 521 N. Rush St., Chicago.
Beta Rho - University of Illinois at Chicago collegiate chapter. August/September recruitment - alumnae welcome to assist. April is ANAD Candlelight Vigil.
