Synopsis: A successful psychiatrist, Michael Hunter leads a relatively normal life with his wife and two children until one night, his son, Kyle commits suicide. The unexplained death of his child tears the family and his career apart. Then one day, Dr. Hunter's former student succeeds in convincing him to follow a case of a boy named Thomas Caffrey. Caffrey has been in an institution ever since he had been the involuntary witness to the homicide of his mother by his father. Dr. Hunter forms a bond with Caffrey, as he tries to seek redemption through the young man, until Caffrey and Hunter's daughter begin a relationship, and Hunter finds that Caffrey has more skeletons in his closet.
