The Boat is a Rival 38, suitably equipped for ocean sailing. Complete with comprehensive instruments and sail wardrobe, including a new Storm Tri-sail , 2 new spinnakers, Nav Tex, Radar, Wind vane and auto steering... Inside the boat, there are 2 main sleeping cabins, each sleeping 2, the main saloon, which has the capacity for a further 2 plus an extra bunk. There is a separate Heads, containing a shower unit, a galley and a chart area.

Anyway, more importantly - looks ... here are some little pics...

These picture's look into the main saloon. To the left is the chart table, and to the right, the galley. On the first picture, dead ahead is the diesel stove and the doorway into the Forward Cabin.

7.

bog.jpg (33056 bytes)This is the most sacred part of the Boat, and area for privacy.. but not the most comfortable though. Use of this contraption should not be attempted at high angles.

8.

cabin.jpg (40083 bytes)Well here it is, the place where Dom and Malcolm can be found early in the morning, cup of tea in hand (is that all?). A place where the elite rest. (Note the bottles pillaged from the crew drinks cabinet ! We have to admire the comfort of it all , I mean quilts ? Turn your attention to the CD player above the bunk, the height of luxury !
