My Favorite Pages

In this page, I would like to introduce my favorite and helpful links that I use frequently.

Recently, the United Nations' website has been very helpful and attractive to me. I use this website to research their activities and up-to-date news around the nations. I studied the organization’s history and activities through their website and the more I learn about them, the more I was attracted to their works. If you go to the System of Organizations link, all departments were precisely divided and it makes easier for you to search their systems. Their main website can be viewed in six different languages and of course, their branch organizations are all over the world; therefore, if you go to the UN website with your local language, you will find their website and learn the relationship between the country you accessed from and the United Nations.

In Japan, the buds of the cherry trees become tinged and begin to open from the end of March to the beginning of April, that is the cherry blossom season. Unfortunately, their life is very short, maybe one week or so; however, people said that their short life is another attractive feature of cherry blossoms. Yes, indeed. When they bloom once a year, in a very short period, they are very beautiful and full of life. It seems cherry blossoms put new life into the world. Unfortunately, in the United States, you can not see lively cherry blossoms as we see in Japan...except one place, Washington D.C.  In 1912, 3,000 cherry trees are sent from Japan to Washington D.C. as a gift of growing friendship between the two nations. In Washington D.C., there is a national cherry blossom festival from the end of March to the beginning of April. You can experience spirited cherry blossom atmosphere there. So, if you have a chance during this period, please go to Washington D.C. and see cherry blossoms! Don't forget to bring your picnic and sake with you!

John Jay College of Criminal Justice has been changed my life perspectives. I graduated from there and earned B.A. in Forensic Psychology. Now, I am back to John Jay and taking MPA programs. John Jay College is particularly for criminal Justice and they have very unique programs. I learned so may things from great professors and my experience at John Jay always find me a prospective future. I believe that education process is a lifelong study and our brain never stop learning from our experiences and that's how we develop our lives. Also, New York University has various programs for adults. Their continuing education programs enhance your ability, skill and knowledge for your needs.
