Charter Guild Policy and Rules. Loc's Guide to Etiquette and Terms Info about Chen Stormstout |
![]() Guild Rules & Policies Rules 1. Help each other. Help should be given, not expected. 2. No excessive pofanity. 3. Be honorable, don't steal kills/loot from others (no ninja looting). 4. No begging for money or items. You may recieve things, but not through begging. 5. We expect people to be mature adults while playing, even if you are not an adult, at least act like one. Remember this. When you walk around in the game, you have a nice little "Chens Champions" floating under your name. So, what you do while in the guild, reflects on the guild as a whole. Act honorably towards others, even if they act dishonorably towards you. We are intended to be a guild of mature players. Policy Gold Buying/Power Leveling Services Purchasing in game money from an outside source or a serivce to level a character are against the Blizzard Terms of Service. If we discover that you have done this (or highly suspect that you have) you will be removed from the guild. Twinking Twinking is generally defined as the use of a high level character or character with a lot of money, to provide excessive amounts of money, items, etc so as to put a lower level character at a significant advanatage to their peers. This is most commonly done for the purposes of running Battlegrounds in the 10-19 or 20-29 brackets. Although our guild does not ban twinks, we do have a policy on guild assistance in making them. That is: *Do not expect guild members to help make your twink. If you want to have a twink badly, you can level a character high enough to support one. *Do not expect other guildies with twinks to always want to run Battlegrounds with you. *Do not expect guildies who get good twink gear as drops to give it to you without compensation. Twinking is a luxury part of the game, and luxuries cost. *Do not request help with insatnces from higher level characters under false pretenses. If you said you needed SFK for a quest, and we find out you were just there for X gear, you will be immediatly removed from the guild. Recruitment We reserve the right to remove members who violate the rules and spirit of the guild at any time and without warning. Upon invitation new recruits will have a period of up to a week while we get to know you and you get to know us. At any time up to and including the end of that week a Probie may be made a full Member if the officers feel they fit the guild. At the end of the week if the Probie has not shown much interest in the guild or logged on since their intial invitaion he will likely be removed. All removals are at the discretion of the GM and Officers and may be made during this period without the recruit's notification or explaination.
