This year's "Star Awards" results has happy and sad news.
Hanwei finally won the "Most Popular Male Artiste in Malaysia Award"..
| Unfortunately he is out of the
" Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste" in Singapore . The results
is shocking and puzzling not just for supporters but audience as well
(see link below). After all, he has been a regular winner all
these years (except when he was backstage, 1997-1999). Of all the
artistes, he has also the most drama serials to film and he did well
in many popularity polls. The recent Drama Festival voting results is
also testimony to his popularity and great contributions to our
television history. As to why he failed in this popularity poll, we hope MCS's management analyse the reasons and take remedial actions. That is, if they really do care about him. And we do hope they really care this time. Meanwhile we should all continue to do our best for him even though some factors are beyond his and our control. |
