Welcome! This site is basically about, chemistry! This site contains several lessons spanning a full year of high school chemistry from "What is an atom?" to "How to form covalent bonds". All are written in plain English, since your regular chemistry text books seem like they�re written in Latin or something! I made these lessons to help you understand chemistry. I�m Kevin by the way, I�m the main site builder. The header, "For Students, By a Student" is there for a reason. I am currently a high school junior that took chemistry last year. I am also currently in A.P. Chemistry now, which is a lot more difficult that regular, first-year chem.

One reason why I made this site is to fore fill a Scholar�s Plus project for my high school. Scholar�s Plus is an academic program in which several requirements have to be made to stay in, one of those is to do a project your junior year. Well here it is!

The other reason I made this site is to promote the subject of chemistry. Almost everyone I know who has taken chemistry hates it. I�m sure you share that same feeling as well, which is why you�re probably looking around the internet for help anyway. I also happen to know that chemistry is hard! I made this website to help make chemistry a little easier, plus introduce the fact that we all need a little chemistry in our lives.

So please feel free to browse the lessons at your leisure. Your humble site builder Kevin is always at work, constantly updating the page for more lessons and completeness. Hence, the site will always be under construction!
