My VERY best friend in the whole world, Gail, visited from Oklahoma!. We've know each other since about the 8th grade, but just recently were reunited. It's nice to have someone who you share so many things in common with. There she is enjoying a sail!! This is just a short paragraph. For the whole story, click the link.

The Quantico yacht Club had its annual boat haul. At just over 19,000 pounds, the Big Kahuna was the largest boat pulled. Many people talk trash about older boats; but I'll tell you, the Coronado 35 is a tank with sails! She's as well built as any boat! It has obviously been a while since she was out. I scraped about 50 lbs of barnacles off and power washed her. Checking thru hulls, adding a zinc, and doing a bottom job throughout the winter. Hopefully, when she goes back in, she'll be sea worthy and stable for a few years.

Sadly, because of some personal issues and the financial problems which precipitated from them; December was a month spent focused on things other than my boat and sailing. Sorry, no updates or exciting news for this month.
