CHELSEA � o nome do nosso canil em Curitiba que nasceu do amor que temos por
Collies (desde 1980) e por Pastores de Shetland ou Shelties (desde 1991).
Temos como hobby esta cria��o de Collies e Shelties para exposi��es.
Criamos com o intuito �nico de melhoramento das ra�as, apresentando-os n�s mesmos em exposi��es,
apesar de termos nossas pr�prias atividades profissionais.
Eles vivem em nossa casa e temos ao redor de duas ninhadas por ano de Pastores de Shetland.
Recentemente adquirimos alguns Shelties americanos de Jean D Simmonds
( Carmylie Shelties) e desde ent�o ela se tornou uma grande amiga e professora pois j� cria Shelties
com qualidade h� mais de 40 anos. Ela � desenhista e autora do livro The Sheltie Guide
que � o Padr�o ilustrado do Sheltie da AKC.
CHELSEA is the kennel name of Hilda & Eduardo Scherrer. It is located in Curitiba and was born
of a love with Collies since 1980 and Shelties since 1991. It is a hobby kennel and we breed Shelties
only with the intent of improving this breed in Brazil that is not so popular as in the USA.Though working
hard during the week we manage our time to show our own dogs on weekends. Recently we purchased
some Shelties from Jean D Simmonds of Carmylie Shelties. Since then she became dear friend of us
and became our teacher due to her 40 years talent on breeding quality Shelties. She is also the author of
The Sheltie Guide
an illustrated AKC Sheltand Sheepdog Standard.
