Chelmsford Moot is held in the Woolpack Pub, Mildmay Road, Chelmsford, on the first Wednesday of each month from 8pm onwards.
We are usually to be found in the back room area, to the left of the bar. Where the sofas are... In Summer, we congregate in the garden, and if the footy is on, we take over the main pub!!

The Pagan community in Chelmsford is diverse, active
and very much alive! Whatever your Pagan Path, and level of experience, you
are most welcome to join us. If you are new to Paganism, or even unsure about
whether it is right for you, please contact us or come along for an evening
- Chelmsford Moot are a friendly and open group of people, and no question is
deemed too stupid (except the one about where the A14 goes to, but that's another
story), cos we've all been new and nervous at one time or another.
This moot began a few years ago (check out Pete's
website - the original Moot Daddy for info). The moot will continue
to grow and develop, to infinity and beyond, and there will be
many opportunities for everyone to contribute (Pressganged?? As if!!??) as
well as participate in the moots and events. Also, please remember to check out The Pagan Federation Website for information on Pagan paths, news and events. If you are not already a member of The Pagan Federation, why not consider joining the PF (link to the Pagan Federation website page with the PF Membership Application Form), and getting involved in the Pagan community a bit more (after all, it is YOUR Pagan community, and being Pagan, you are already part of it...

1. What can I do for the moot?
What have you learnt that you wish to share??? Have you thought about doing
a talk, a workshop, a demonstration, or leading or organising a moot ritual?
2. What do I want from the moot?
Do you want to go and visit sacred sites - if so, which ones? Would you like
to take part in a moot camp? Outdoor rituals? Would you like to go as a group
to Pagan conferences? Would you like to organise or help out in any of the above?
3. What do you think of the moot?
Let us know how we are doing: whether you would like us to do anything differently,
if you have any ideas about the moot..... let us know!!
