Library services
As pointed out earlier, the first
service we offer is that of
providing reading materials such as books and journals to support
information needs of scholars and professionals in teaching, research and consultancy
in areas of Finance, Business administration, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship,
Public administration, Procurement as well as Management.
Secondly; we are involved in developing and maintaining library databases.
We have been able to create a good number of databases including the currently used electronic catalogue and we
are working hard to innovate more useful products.
Thirdly ; we are involved in designing and maintaining library website.
We have been able to design a website which provide very useful hints about information
access and retrieval including the currently used library website. Our site is linked to a number of scholary databases
and search tools and we are working hard to update it by iserting more useful information access and retrieval techniques.
Fourthly ; the library provide facilities for word processing as well as internet, It has 11 computers of which 4 are
networked, logistics to network remaining are in advanced stage. The library is also equiped with one heavy duty photocopying machine for library
user’s photocopying services.
Fifthly; we offer current awareness services to students by displaying recently recieved documents on a specific shelf
labled New arrivals. Also we have a newspaper reading space, well fed with 7 titles of local
and regional papers on daily basis and we reserve a copy of each title and bind for future referencing.
