My Puppies

Izzy and Lucy

I have two puppies named Izzy and Lucy. Izzy is a Yorkie Poo who is going to be 14 in November, and Lucy, a mini-Maltese, is going to turn 12 in December.

Izzy

Izzy is the one with the glowing personality, and he is also the protective one. He'll always go with you if you're going outside, and stay near you. Outside, he'll greet others dogs who are taking a stroll with their person and run up and down the fence.

Inside, he chills by his spots on the couch, which is by the armrests where he feels protected as if it were a burrow. He likes to lay on his back; If he's asleep, sometimes he has his mouth awkwardly ajar, exposing his front teeth. I think it's cute.

Lastly, if he wakes up from a nap on his back and now sees me on the couch seated next to him, he looks up at me wide-eyed in pleasent surprise. Now, THAT is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I've been trying to get a photo of it, but he often hears me come into the room and wakes up.

Lucy

Lucy is the sweet one. She's happiest when she's being held, and loves it when I beckon her over. She's happy when I'm happy, and enjoys some of the music I listen to. Lucy loves to lay out on the porch on a sunny day.

If Lucy wants to play, she'll sprint around the house, stop suddenly to stare at me, and then continue on. This is all interspersed with spins. I LOVE how cute she is when she does this.

My Companions

Izzy and Lucy bring me such joy to me every day. Though, lots of dogs bring joy to their owners, these dogs are special because they're mine. I couldn't ask for better companions.
