For those who know anything about me, you should know my favorite band in the world is You're Pretty. Sadly, their vocalist decided she didn't want to be a part of it anymore. I attended their final show in Ames, IA along with Mattie and Jacob. Here's a review of the show from the Iowa State Daily.
I would have written a review, but that night was pretty much a total blur. They involved us in the show way more than I was expecting. Chris pulled me up stage and let me throw t-shirts to all the screaming fans. It was insane. Then later on, I can't remember what song they were playing, but he reached out his hand to me AGAIN and let me come up and play the bass. Craziness. They played "Find Yourself" for me. I had to coach Beth on the lyrics (to that and just about EVERY OTHER SONG). I remember the whole audience singing along to "Pretending". That was fantastic. We crashed in Chris' girlfriend's room after the show...were introduced to Dave's "characters". Amazing weekend. I love those guys.
