P R O G R A M ?
During the internship period you may wish to attend and complete a course (e.g. computer course, taxation and accounting, Certified Chiropractic Foot Course, Auxiliary Therapy courses on acupuncture), in order to gain hours towards the academic requirements for the Internship Program.
In order to gain credits for this type of activity, you are required to apply to the Kwazulu - Natal Regional Internship Committee, requesting consideration of the course being attended for credits towards the academic component of the Internship Program.
To be included in the application:
1. The title by which the course is known.
2. A syllabus outline of the course.
3. A contact person with respect to the course (e.g. the co-ordinator, the lecturer or institution offering the course).
4. Your motivation for doing the course and how it will benefit you in terms of your practice or patient inteactions.
The application will be assessed by the Regional Internship Committee and a response will be given within a two (2) week period as to the acceptance of the course in terms of the outcomes of the Internship Program.
The courses or programs that have been accepted by the Regional Internship Committee will be posted on the Internship accredited courses page.
