| The TOPS program effectively implements a curriculum of
hands-on, community based learning experiences emphasizing the
integration of functional academic skills, employment skills,
independent living skills, and social skills. The central purpose
of the TOPS program is that, with additional time and support, each
student in the program will make a contribution to society as
a productive and independent adult. |
