| There are several ways you can breed chao... Force Breed, Fruit Breed, or Time Breed... Force Breed All you need is two heart fruits, two chao that have evolved (age depends) and space, the space will assure that no other chao will breed your breedible chao. They will see each other and walk toward each other and breed. I strongly recomend this method. Fruit Breed If you can't afford two heart fruits, you are poor, just joking, but you give the fruit to the chao let him finish it, while he is eating it go and get the father, either the chao is still eating, is finished and is waiting, or didn't actually take the full effect. Time Breed This is a last resort for most chao breeders, while you are in the garden you happen to find that your chao is in breeding season, this comes around at least once in a chao's life.
