Battle engine still in early stages.
v0.06 .. I think I'm a little over 5% done the game.
Email me and tell me what u think should be done next ok?
v0.07 little bug fix-still not done battle engine
v0.08 battle engine working ok-read the readme.txt for controls
little roblem now tho- theres no way to replenish your hp in this game yet
so I'd expect to die after a couple of battles
v0.09 no major changes-you can heal but its not enough to keep you alive
hope you like it-at least enough to check it out when it's done
v0.10 changed a couple of bitmaps... added clipping to grid mode
also easy healing method
v0.11 frame rate thing sortof fixed..
healing takes longer.. program divided up(not noticeable in the executable)
animations should be added soon..
WARNING-seems like the thing only runs in windows!
if you want the source so you can convert it to your systems os, you gotta email me (req' devcpp&allegro... stuff)
sry ppl I think I'm gonna put this rpg thing on the shelf for a while
I think it only needed a few small things to get a bit addictive but
I never finish projects if I dont know exactly how I want them to be done

first release in a long time, battle enging is about complete, now 2 enemy varieties, and an editable map(map0-0.bmp)
demo 1.02
third enemy added, you'll only fight them 1 on 1 while by the water
demo 1.03
evolution updated:
-whenever you take a certain amount of damage relative to your max health, your max hp will go up by 1
-every successful attack will increase your damage by 0.01(1 damage every 100 attacks)
-just letting you know that when your hp and AtkR aren't maxed your regenration rate for these fields will increase slightly
-your max AtkR will go up faster if your AtkR is closer to its maximum
-enemy regeneration rates are no longer carried over from one battle to the next
(this was making the enemies with higher hp impossible to beat after several battles)
control updates:
When you select an enemy snd attack it your attack cursor will stay there, instead of jumping back tto the top enemy.
misc. updates:
Battle mode backgrounds are now more varied.(there should be 1 for each type of tile that you can fight on)
Music files are no longer required, you can delete the midi and wav files and the game wont crash, it'll just skip the music routine.(untested)
I'm still working on this game a little but its not worth updating yet, I'm starting a Dungeons and dragons game and I'm making a new world for it.. people seem to be slow making their characters, I put mine up here, its in the menu on the left, so is whats there of the world so far...
Also for this game I'm going to be adding an offline system so if you're not in contact with the group you can play the game at a speed comparable to real time... probably double or quadruple...
I'll be adding a signup page shortly, for now though my emails there in the menu.
