Grading Criteria
The Beatles: Across the Curriculum

  • Students are required to achieve at least a "C" grade for the course in order to attain credit for this course to fulfill the requirements for Writing I at the high school level.

  •
  • All work must be submitted by the end of the course final date.  If a student cannot complete the work in the allotted time frame, a written request must be submitted to the instructor for an "I" incomplete grade.  Failure to notify the instructor or to complete the course work within two months of the final class date will automatically appear as an "F" failing grade in the student's personal records.

  •
  • Rubrics are designed in order to provide the student with a list of items that should be included in each assignment and the point values for each item.  It is highly recommended that students should follow the rubrics to self-score their own work before submitting assignments.
