9. Students will create their own cartoons.  For ideas on how to do this, they can go to this site: 
http://library.thinkquest.org/50084/cartoons/howto.html
Their cartoon should depict the Bill of Rights amendment they have chosen over the last 3-4 days.  Their cartoons should contain the following elements:  at least one symbol, a caption, and a phrase or conversation bubble.

10. Students will share the cartoon with the class and explain it.

11. Students will write a letter to the editor of the local newspaper explaining the cartoon and why the issue is important
.
