| Article xiii. Conduct of Meeting continued Section 5. A member having made a motion can withdraw it by consent of the seconder, but a motion once debated cannot be withdrawn except by majority vote for a motion authorizing withdrawal. Section 6. A motion to amend a motion shall be in order. A motion to amend an amendment shall be in order but a motion to amend an amendment to an amendment shall not be permitted. Section 7. When a question is decided, it can only be reconsidered provided the mover of the motion to reconsider voted with the majority on the original motion and that such motion to reconsider is supported by two thirds of the members present. If the original motion was decided at a meeting previous to the motion to reconsider then the reconsideration shall be placed upon the notice calling the next regular meeting and be debated at that meeting. If the original motion was decided at the same meeting as the motion to reconsider then the debate shall take place immediatly. Section 8. When a motion is before the meeting, no motion shall be in order except: (a) to adjourn (b) to lay on the table (c) For the previous question (d) To postpone to a given time (e) To refer or commit (f) to amend (g) to substitute These questions shall have precedence in order given. Section 9. The following motions are not debatable: (a) to adjourn (b) to lay on the table (c) For the previous question Section 10. A member may appeal the decision of the Chair. When an appeal is made from the decision of the Chair, such appeal shall be stated by the Chair to the meeting in these words, "Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained as the decision of the meeting?" The member shall have the right to state the grounds of appeal and the Chair will state the reasons for the decision. Thereupon the members will proceed to vote on the appeal without further debate and it shall require a two-third vote to sustain the appeal against the Chair.
