Section 4
.  An hounorarium shall be paid to each Executive Board member excluding the Secretary-Treasurer, amounting to eight (8) hours pay at their regular rate in April and in October.

Section 5. The Secretary-Treasurer will receive eight (8) hours pay at their regular rate each month.

Article x.  Board of Trustees

Section 1. The President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Trustees and their successors shall constitute a Board of Trustees for the purpose of holding title to both personal property and real estate taken in the name of the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, Local 848.

     Upon prior approval of the Local Union, the Board of Trustees shall be authorized to buy, sell, transfer, lease and contract for personnal property and real estate of the Local Union.

Section 2. All officers, at the expiration of their term of office, when removed from office, or when their office is declared vacant, shall deliver to their successors all books, paper, monies and other property in their possession belonging to the Union, and they shall not be released from their bonds or obligations until this section is complied with.

     All members or employees who or have in their possission any monies, books records or other property of the Local Union during any period when such member or employee is designated to perform duties on behalf of the Local Union shall deliver all such, monies, books, records and other properties to the Local Union Secretary-Treasurer or the Local Union upon completion of such assignment.

Section 3. In the event of the Local Union being disbanded the assets may only be disposed of by a majority membership vote at a duly constituted meeting provided at least thirty (30) days notice has been given.

Section 4. A member whose membership is terminated shall have no right or interest in any property of the Local Union or of the National Union, including any dues, assessments or other financial obligations paid by him in advance of the effective date of such termination.

Article xi.  Dicipline, Trials and Penaties.

Section 1. The Local Union is hereby empowered to provide for the forfeiture of membership of a delinguent member for the non-payment of dues without the necessity of proceeding by the filing of charges and conduct of a trial.

Section 2. The Local Union shall be empowered through proper procedures as outined in appropriate sections of the National Constitution, to impose penalties on members found to be in violation of the Local and/or National Constitutions.

Section 3. The following are concidered grounds on which charges may be filed:

1.  Neglect of duty or breach of the National and/or Local Union Constitution and By-laws.

2.  Advcoating or socliciting membership in a rival organization or attempting to transfer the affiliation of any barganing unit from the jurisdiciton of the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada.

3.  Providing a complete or partial membership list of persons other than whose official business requires such a list.

4.  Misappropriation or embezzlement of funds or assets of this organization.

5.  Tampering with ballots or interfering with fair and proper conduct of elections.

6.  Malicously or falsely slandering officers or members the Union.
