Should your pet require hospitalization for monitoring and treatment for a medical problem, we offer hospitalization services during our business hours. The doctor will design a treatment record that outlines monitoring parameters, treatment times, and ongoing diagnostic tests that need to be performed. The chart becomes part of the medical record and is useful for emergency veterinarians to review should your pet need a referral to the emergency facility for ongoing care overnight.

The doctor(s) supervise all parameters of care, but we entrust our licensed veterinary technicians to oversee the treatment of our hospitalized patients. Should your pet require intravenous fluid therapy, the hospital has special devices to pump exactly the amount of fluids needed.

There is no medical staff at the clinic past regular business hours (Mon-Thurs 8am-8pm, Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-12pm). If your pet requires observation and care it will be recommended that your pet be transferred to an overnight facility.
