Church Services (9:30am & 6:30pm)
All of our church services are
contemporary in style with an emphasis on worship, prayer and teaching. Morning
services incorporate aspects of our tradition and offer a crèche and children's
program. Evening services creatively focus on the needs of young people and
those young at heart.
We seek to be genuine, holistic and
sensitive to God and each other in our worship, as well as meaningful and
relevant to people's needs in all we do.

Children's Church (10:00am)
At CBCC, we have a high commitment to
teach the truths of our faith to our children in an age appropriate way through
Children's Church, which caters for children from Kindergarten to Grade 7. We
seek to encourage each child in their spiritual growth, and to be a support to
our families.
Activities
for young people
Inferno is an active group of high school
age young people and young adults at CBCC. We seek to meet each other's needs
through regular social activities and weekly home groups, as well as ministry
opportunities both inside and outside the church.
Mothers with young children
Being a mother of young children can be
as stressful as it is rewarding. That's why mothers with young children meet
regularly at CBCC. This important program allows time for building friendships
and provides a caring environment where mothers can support each other.

Missions
Our
Missions Mission Statement
In obedience to God's Word, participate
fully in world missions by sending and supporting missionaries, under the
guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Our
Vision Statement
We believe that the local Church has
prime responsibility for world mission and that Centenary Baptist Community
Church needs to act on this God-given mandate. We also understand that God is
moving powerfully to ensure that people everywhere have the opportunity to hear
the Gospel.
We believe that He is moving amongst us
by bringing and raising up a number of people who have heard His call to
Christian service on mission fields at home and abroad.
In such exciting circumstances, we have a
vision for the Centenary Baptist Community Church that it will be a church:
-
with a powerful desire for people
everywhere to come to know Jesus as Saviour and to grow in Christian maturity,
-
with a vibrant, active interest in
world mission,
-
that is aware of contemporary mission
strategies,
-
that is involved in sending
missionaries from our number to mission fields around the world, according to
God's call,
-
that prays for and practically supports
missions and our missionaries.

Our
Mission Goals
The Goals of the Missions Committee are
to:
-
ensure that the fellowship is well
informed and educated about mission,
-
encourage the church to be involved in
missions support,
-
ensure that financial support for
missions is provided to the Church's fullest capability,
-
discern and encourage candidates for
missions service.

Care Ministry
Life can result in the unexpected and
sometimes the disastrous! At CBCC, we recognise that there are times when a
listening ear, a casserole, or other help is needed - this is the important role
that our care ministry provides in the church.
Prayer Ministry
At CBCC we desire to see prayer
surrounding every aspect of individual and church life. This is achieved through
corporate prayer meetings, our prayer team, and prayer throughout the different
aspects of church life.

Home Groups
At CBCC, we believe that the primary way
of extending support and care to those in the church is through home groups.
Home groups allow people to meet in an
informal atmosphere, over a coffee or tea, to share the challenges and joys of
Christian life. Click on the welcome mat for home groups in your area. At home
group we pray together, support each other and explore the the Bible's practical
application in our lives. We have various and numerous home groups meeting
throughout each week.

Discipleship
Discipleship is an intentional process at
CBCC, where we seek to turn believers into disciples, and disciples into
disciple-makers. We offer one to one discipleship and group discipleship, both
of which are designed to grow people in their relationship with God, no matter
where they are in their spiritual journey.
