Donna is the founding and current president of CEC. She is the proud owner and rider of a small herd of equines, and is an English riding instructor with 25 years of riding, training, and showing experience.

Beyond the members of the board, Centaur has also formed several committees to ease the tasks and the division of labour. We now have a Fundraising, Public Relations, and Event Committee.
The Fundraising Committee is involved in coordinating and instrumenting different fundraisers
from ticket sales, canteens, and our Centaur Christmas puddings. Fundraising is an integral part of the clubís ability to provide services and activities and it requires the assistance of all members in some small way. For this year, we are also planning our first annual Movie Night and, of course, we are always looking for class sponsors for our shows!
The Public Relations Committee is involved in promoting events, alerting the media and informing members and affiliates.
The Event Committee is responsible for coordinating the club events. This is not simply a matter of arranging the event, bit also of preparing the venue and organizing the program for the day. While it is important for competitive riders to be involved, it is just as important for recreational riders and even non-riders to be involved for a smoothly run event.
Centaur recognizes that its members and affiliates are busy people and this is the reasoning behind other committees.
