Sunday 05/07/03 I followed my mum and her friends to the national stadium in the morning today to get some exercise. I had to wake up at 6am. I was very tired after the trip that I slept the entire afternoon! I awoke only at 7.30pm, just in time for dinner and to catch the Titanic. Heh. Before I slept, I read The Diary of Anne Frank; it was a delicious read and I sincerely recommend it to everyone : ) Saturday 04/07/03 11.51pm Piano lessons in the morning today. I got to choose the new songs for the next lesson and I picked Romeo and Juliet. I couldn't decide on the rest because all of them are so nice! Ru Ping is deciding the rest for me. I went out with Florence and Xiuyan in the evening and we had our dinner at the Hainanese Restaurant. What ensued was 3 hrs of shopping at Far East Plaza to get a bag for Florence. We didn't manage to get anything but we interacted alot and did window shopping and got to know one another better. : ) We found out about each others taste and preferences and lifestyles.. it was wonderful talking to the both of them! Friday 03/07/03 3.51pm I just bought 'The Diary of Anne Frank' I'm so excitied I think I can finish it in a day! Seeing that book reminds me of secondary school literature. I love studying literature!! I'm having Piano lessons tomorrow and something else on the day after I wonder if I have the time to read it at all. : / I've started work on The Fun House today. I'm plan to put up a section for downloads. I burned a cd yesterday. It was very successful. I even made the cover and the content page. It's v nice. Hey, anyone who would like me to help them burn a cd on any genre of songs (oldies, pop, techno, jazz) plus the cover I do that too if you wanna, I charge 5 bucks. just give me the list of the songs or/and artistes and I'll get to work as soon as possible. It's cheaper than those $10 pirated cds out there and better since u get to personalise it! I use 700mb not the 650mb ones so that you can burn up to 20 songs. My first burned cd is the proof! You get the cd casing too. Thurs 02/07/03 1:12am My PC is finally fixed! Well, half actually. I still need to run more tests to make sure. Atleast I can update my blog now. Some people have told me that they can't get pass the 'Hand' page eg Shengfang, Peiyu, Yising etc but there's nothing I can do about it unless I change my entire webbie to keep the graphics to a minimum which defeats the purpose of visting my website since Tammy's webbie is all about graphics. Lol. Maybe some other people can upgrade their PC? : ? hehe All this while I've been writing my journals consistently but I don't think I'll wanna trouble myself to put everything up here. So to sum it up from 29/05 till now: Watched Bruce Almighty, Piano lessons at Admiralty (I must be crazy to keep travelling all the way there every Sat), Grandma house visit, Chalet with Sharon and Stella, relief teaching again at Tao Nan pri, sleep, receive postcard from my JC, lotsa sms to n from friends about Uni course, ideas for soapbox, sleep, typing, giving tuition, erratic sleep patterns, wrote a short midnight poem, typing again, discussion on hostel room-mate, collection of A-Level results and got bug by naggy lady at sch gate who forced me to buy a $4 chi bk that my "famous" principal wrote, no sleep, learn how to play the song from The Pianist, tuition, watching tv programmes, shopping, afternoon naps, finished typing, contemplating about orientation camps, watched Jack the Ripper and Great Expectations on the same day, condo property craze, sinking into my blackhole, got to know more abt Kilimajaro, Hyperlinkz - GenX club ( It was v fun!), discussion on Aus. trip with mich, cancellation of trip, planning of a bigger tour event at year end: To Europe! provided my prof att. doesn't take up my entire campus vacation, getting ppl to go St.John, geting some sleep, Shopping at Queensway with Sf, keeping in touch with Florence, giving Acts Factor Camp a miss for little Shirley's sake even though she's so naughty, hanging out with Jane and Prisy, Oops prisy was sick and didn't turn up today so It was just Jane and me, update some PC stuff, checking my emails, surfing uni website but couldn't get through, check my webbie and typing my blog into the wee hrs of the night rght now... |
