This
page is all about me - I'm not super boring so you might want
to read on.......
I'm English (Cornish actually), living in Canada for 27 years now, but
still very attached to my homeland. It's probably because I come from
such a beautiful place that I appreciate nature so much and like to
reproduce it in my photos and paintings.

Cornwall is a
very rocky place, and my ancestors were miners, so that might also explain
why I became a geologist and ended up in Canada.
Naturally enough, I married a geologist and settled in Southern Ontario
- north of Belleville, near the village of Ivanhoe.
My husband and
I live with two dogs and five cats in an old farmhouse that really isn't
large enough ('cos we're packrats). As you may notice, I paint under
my maiden name.
A decided lack
of employment opportunities led me to try my hand at growing flowers
and herbs and garlic - something that was supposed to be a change for
a few years - twenty years ago.
These days I'm having a go at something completely different - graphic
design (maybe even web design). I've been painting watercolours for about
ten years now, so I suppose it's a logical progression.
I still do some
geological work on the side, so if you need a geologist in Eastern Ontario..........
