Graham Chapman

Here we see Graham displaying that popular Python quirk: exhibitionism. Most of these guys would get naked at the drop of a hat. Anyone's hat. It wouldn't even have to be a hat. A knotted handkerchief would do... Graham was the only Python that had the body to pull this off *successfully*. He was tall, lean, not too hairy, and had a reasonably well-defined physique. This photo shows him during his heyday, when he was still alive and young girls like myself didn't know he was completely off limits.

Great picture, if a bit of a shocking scene. True, the Pythons did undress quite often (though it was almost always Terry Jones. Why he thought we needed to see his body is beyond me.) and Graham really was the only one that everyone could agree was attractive. (Though for my money I say Eric was pretty damn cute naked.) Graham isn’t the most well-endowed man I’ve ever seen, I applaud him for his bravery. Eric talks about how Jones wanted accuracy, and that the audience could tell Graham wasn't Jewish, if you catch my drift. So an uncomfortable sounding solution involving a rubber band was formed and I'm not going to talk about it any further.

Here, Graham is portraying "Biggus Dickus", which is probably a misnomer considering the size of the leaf I had to add to the previous picture. The Roman Centurion look works for him, and the tight curls and beard complement his facial features well. (Read: they hide his big chin and downplay his nose.) Mostly, though, I gave this picture 5 stars because that is *such* cool armour.

I don’t know, men and facial hair has never done it for me. It looks nothing like Graham (and with a face like that, why hide it?), and is a rather unflattering pose. But I will agree that the outfit is great. Makes him look so butch, which is hard to accomplish with any Python.

From the cover of "Ojril: The Completely Incomplete Graham Chapman" (a collection of his unpublished scripts), this photo shows a young, sensual side to Graham that we don't often get to see in Python. Can't approve of the pipe smoking, though...

This is a wonderful picture (reminds me of some of the sexual and artistic pictures of Eric’s "Rutland Dirty Weekend Guide".) and, as noted, is very sensitive. Getting in on the mind of someone like Graham is very hard to do, but he puts it out right there for you in this picture. Laid back, pensive, slightly brooding, and always with that stylish pipe. I hate smoking, but Graham did it with such style.

I had to put one unflattering picture here. Two words: British dentistry.

As unflattering as it may be, I think it’s a striking scene. Filmed very well, it adds a bit of drama as Brian dutifully carries his cross. Still, from merely a giggling girl perspective, it isn’t exactly the most becoming of pictures.

Tee hee!
