The Catacombes

Beneath the Groves, Gardens and Galleries of the Garden of Muses, runs and expansive and labrynthian set of tunnels known as the catacombes.  These ancient, stone carved tunnels and caves house many of Rook's darker muses.

One such dweller of the catacombes calls himself Erik.  Erik is an old Muse and arrived in the catacombes a few years after Drizzt.  At the time he had the unique distinction of being one of the Dark Muses.

Erik is a Vampire.  He has been a vampire since the 1880's.  Erik stands about 5'10", has steel blue eyes (the color changes with his moods & his need to feed), has butter-blonde hair.

Erik trusts few.  His handful of friends appeared in a story that Rook had written.  Due to the fact that one of his former human lovers tried to stake him, he sneers at love, is very lonely and moody.  An mention of Love usually sends him into a sarcastic speech.

When Rook first encountered Erik in the latter part of the 1980's he prefered to dress in leathers, denim, wore earrings and his hair in the style of the times, spikey.

Erik had a Light Muse counterpart, an angel known as Xavier.  There are several images that contain both Erik & Xavier which will hopefully appear in the Grove of the Muses at a future date.
