| Cuna De Lobos ( Translated to Den of Wolves / Cradle Of Wolves in English ) is one of the many classic Telenovela's from Mexico's Televisa. Originally screened in 1986, Cuna De Lobos tells the story of the Larios family and thier exploits, in particular the head of the family Catalina Creel. ( For a more detailed description please checkout the Series Overview )In Mexico the show was, allegedly, so popular at the time that it broke viewing records and when its final episode screened it caused a shutdown of the entire Mexico subway system and recived the second highest viewing audience ever. This site was set-up as the only other concrete site on Cuna De Lobos ( The Unofficial DEN OF WOLVES Homepage ) has long been abandoned, and in an effort to create a better culmination of information and other things about this series and its actors, this site was born. | *UPDATE*UPDATE* Wed, 15th October 2003 Hey guys, It is with great regret that i inform, all those who are yet unaware that Carlos Olmos, the writer of Cuna De Lobos has passed away. Carlos passed away at approximatley 4:45am on the 12th of October. The cause of death was chronic bronchitis says his sister Margarita Olmos. He had been hospitalised since Sunday and his funeral was held on Monday in the south of Mexico. His ashes were then scattered in Chiapas, where he was born. He was 55 years old. Weeks before Carlos died, there began to be talk of a remake of Cuna De Lobos which was to be named La Casa de las Fieras (The House of the Beasts ). It is unknown if this planned production/idea will be followed through at this point. On such a sad note i would like to wish his friends and family the sincerest regards.
