Develop upgrade packages for Armidale class patrol boats and Huon class mine-hunters.  Addition of VLS or turret-mounted RBS-70 missiles (or similar SAM) to give the vessels at least limited self-defense against air attack.  Similarly, develop a system where both classes of vessels can mount and fire Penguin ASV missiles to give enhanced anti-ship capabilities at greater ranges than currently available with the present armament.  Include air/surface search radar, as well as the option for a towed sonar array for ASW.

Develop an AIP system for use aboard the Collins class submarines.  Also purchase or develop mini-submersibles for deployment of Special Forces, and mining enemy harbors.

Design guided, fletchette, and velocity-enhanced base-bleed ammunition for 5in (127 mm) and 3 in (76 mm) naval guns.

Design a trimaran hulled MHC, for further info see the link.

Further ideas for development would be to replace the existing 20 mm Mk 15 Vulcan Phalanx CIWS with the similar 30 mm Goalkeeper CIWS, and the addition of 21 cell RAM (Rolling Airframe Missle) launchers for improved Point Defence aboard the frigates.
