Trimaran MHC
Design a trimaran hulled MHC, much like the decommissioned catamaran Bay class MHI.  The vessels would be approximately 60m in length, 10m beam, and a draft of less than 3m, with a total tonnage of 500-800 tons.  The hulls would be constructed on GRP and would be propelled by waterjets, with a minimum range of 1,600 n miles at 18 kts.  There would be four positions, 1 forward, 1 amidships, and 2 aft, each suitable for a 3.5 x 3 x 2.5m weapon/system container like those found on the Standard Flex 300 multi-role vessels used by the Royal Danish Navy.  A recompression chamber would be fitted in the center hull, and all necessary mine-hunting sonar would be fitted as standard.  The primary mission of the vessel would be mine hunting, but would also be able to operate as a patrol craft, surface combatant, SAR vessel, pollution control, hydrographic survey, mine layer and ASW.
