The Steps Resources Conclusion Teacher Information
Evaluation for Election 2000 and Beyond will be comprised of two parts:  a grade on the project and a grade on the comprehensive test. grades logo

Project Grade

Your project will be graded by a rubric that takes into consideration organization, mechanics, the electronic journal, and your group's responses to the seven questions.

After the group grade has been determined, each group will then decide how to fairly distribute points to each group member, by taking into account work ethic, attendance, and cooperation. For example, a presentation that earned a 96% would result in a group grade of four students being able to distribute 384 points among its members. Each group member would receive 96% for the group segment grade and a second (individual) grade, which would be his or her share of the 384 points as determined by the group.

The project grade will count as a major project (or double test) grade.

Test Grade

The test will be a comprehensive objective test comprised of questions generated by each group and approved by the teacher.  Each group will be submitting five questions which pertain to the step they presented.  The test will count as a regular unit test grade.
