Cub Scouting Boy Scouting

Boy Scout Troop 260 meets on Mondays at 7:00pm at the Central City Lions Park. We have patrol meetings to sharpen up on Scout skills. Patrols are made up of small groups of boys who work, travel, and camp as teams. The Senior Patrol Leader leads the monthly Patrol Leaders Council to plan events and take care of business. Patrol Leaders are Boy Scouts elected to those positions by their peers.
Boy Scouts advance in rank from Scout to Eagle. Every Boy Scout in Troop 260 is encouraged to complete First Class during their first year.
The rank requirements are:
Tenderfoot
Second Class
First Class
Star
Life
Eagle
In addition to rank advancements and merit badges Boy Scouts may earn many other Special Awards.
