TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER - BRICK AND TILE PROJECT

Providing skill training to Africans is the main objective of the pilot project. In this picture, in the footsteps of his predecessor Hassan Fathy, Mr. Adel Fahmy, an Egyptian architect is training Somalis in the ancient technology of dome and vault construction using manually produced sun-dried clay bricks. Preserving and teaching this type of technology is the goal of CCHAR.
