The Citadel
Chimes chartered as
a member of Harmony
Inc. in 1987. We are
a group of ladies of all ages
and from many varied backgrounds
who came together on a weekly
basis to sing four-part a
cappella harmony in the
barbershop style. Most of us
are not formally trained in
voice but we all love to ring
those barbershop chords.
We have been the Area 1 Champions twice (1997, 1999), 2nd (1996,
1998), 3rd (1994), 4th (1995, 2001, 2002, 2003) and 3rd in 2004.
We have qualified for Harmony Inc's. International
Convention and Contest for the past ten years. While we have only
managed to attend 4 IC&Cs we have placed as high as 10th. We
are planning on competing this year at IC&C in Hamilton, ON
and hope to have a wonderful competition.

Director. We look forward to many more years of fun and
fellowship, challenges and fulfillment. We love to share
our love of music with the community and have performed
in shows, on television, in malls, nursing homes, amusement
parks - anywhere we are asked us to perform!
