Basic Cadet Training

A requirement for all Fourth Year High School students, includes all basic CAT subjects with instructions in Military Drills and Ceremonies and lectured subjects as stipulated in the CAT Program of Instruction (POI).

Model Cadet's Training

Usually given to members of Amber (Model) Company consisting of volunteers from all high school levels. Training here is more intensive than the Basic and requires full cooperation of all members of the unit for the accomplishment of it's special missions for the community and the EPC (Educative Pastoral Community of Don Bosco Makati). The Company is frequently sent to competitions and special tasks in which they develop teamwork, camaraderie and leadership skills.

Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC)

Members of Amber Company from first to third year high school fall under this category. In the course of their training, they are being prepared for various leadership positions needed in the Corps. Positive attitude and stability under pressure are necessary for passing the various leadership situations that may arise. Here, leadership potentials are identified and developed in each Cadet and negative attitudes are corrected. The trainee is expected to have the proper Military Decorum on campus while under the COCC to give a good image to the unit and Corps. Proper conduct off campus should also be followed accordingly.

Schooling for Cadet Officers (SCO) Summer Training

This is the final phase of training for any Officer Candidate. Existing Cadet Officers also undergo this course and at times also go through the same training as the Officer Candidates. Conducted every summer, the trainees are made to discover their physical and mental prowess through rigid activities that develop their confidence and management skills. This enables them to face the rigors and challenges of leading the Corps in the coming school year.
