Chin's Szechuan Restaurant

I remember waking up around 1pm again, tired from last night's corporate gig in Anaheim, but at least a bit rested.   I'm glad my wife lets me sleep in on Sundays...   I definitely need the rest.

I'm still feeling sick with congestion and a sore throat,  but at least I can move around.

I took it easy most of the day,  taking advantage of this day off which is like gold this month.   The band has 26 gigs in March and along with rehearsal time,  we are just plain busy.   This coming Wednesday we will fly out to Orlando for the Disney World show, which will actually be on Thursday and we'll fly back on Friday.

The wife, the two kids and I went out to dinner at Chin's Szechuan Restaurant in Scripps Ranch.  The boys are pretty good when going to restaurants...   well behaved and all.   My wife and I were planning on going out to a movie,  but we decided it would be best to treat the kids out to dinner at a nice restaurant...   a total family thing.

Later at night,  I was surprised that my older son wanted to use Cyberstudio,  a professional web editor.   He wanted to use it as a wordprocessor for practicing his typing,  but he ended up creating his first web page.   I was quite enthused and surprised at the same time.

Well,  I was able to have a little free time surfing the web tonight after my son was done using the computer.

I think I may have to get the kids their own computer sometime soon....
