Working Thru The Sickness

I woke up around 1pm today!   Extremely tired from last night's gig at Tio Leo's,  I lounged around the house until it was time to get ready for the gig in Anaheim tonight.

Just before I was going to get ready for tonight's gig,  my wife and I took the kids to MacDonalds for a quick late lunch.

~~~
We left Nate's place around 3:30pm
We reached the Anaheim Marriott just before 6:00pm,  we had plenty of time to do a sound check,  eat dinner in our "band room" and check out the other bands.   Tonight's corporate gig was for a large natural foods convention.
When we started our first set I was surprised at the enthusiastic crowd and the large number of dancers.   It was a much better crowd than last year when we did this very same convention.
I felt very good up until the last set when I simply ran out of steam from being sick.   I was happy to get through the gig but I really was exhausted and it took me a long time to break down and pack up my drums.
Well,  I was glad Nate drove this time, as I needed to just rest and chill out on the way home.   I didn't get home till 3:45am,  and I was very tired!!!!
