San Diego State U. It was raining fairly hard this morning. A storm system had moved into San Diego. I was still feeling sick today and taking herbs to try and get better. I guess it could be worse and at least I'm walking around. The gig at San Diego State was kind of strange. We performed for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Exhibit which was touring throughout the country and various universities. We were hired to play just one hour. The exhibit was very impressive, and the showcase of Rolling Stone magazine covers, displayed in very large poster-sized frames, were the main highlight. Some Irish dancers, kids from about 6 years to adolescence, opened up the show for us and they did a great job. When we got on stage it seemed we were all tired. I think these daytime gigs are hard for the band just because of the fact that we are geared for evening performance. Stuff during the day is when we're not fully awake. So with that, our performance suffers. I wasn't too happy with my performance today, but I was still sick and frantically trying to recover amid a very hectic band schedule. I keep hoping I will get better soon.
It's pushing close to a week now with these flu symptoms.
