About
Ghosts!
2:50AM PST
Last night my wife and I noticed the smell of burning candles in the garage as we got out of the car. It really freaked us out because we couldn't find the source to where the smell was coming from. But it was a distinct odor of burning candles. The garage door was still open, so we walked out into the driveway and we still smelled the burning candles, which seemed to permeate the air around us. This really freaked me out because the last time I had experienced this very same thing, my grandfather had passed away. We smelled some burning candles right after he was buried, and we could never figure out where they were coming from because no one within a one hundred foot radius was burning a candle... very strange. So, being very taken by this little puzzlement, I was interested in finding as much information in the Internet about ghosts as I could find, and the search led me deep into the wee hours of the morning and I dug up a lot of stuff. After researching many websites regarding the supernatural, I was able to find one site that I was satisfied with, one that had a good collection of ghost stories and pictures, and explanations on what to expect when coming upon a paranormal experience. And, the experience of "smelling flowers and candles" was included as one of the things one experiences when coming upon a ghost, or dead spirit! I really was freaked out about this... and my hair felt like it stood up on end and my arms had goose bumps... me, who thought I was such a brave guy. And just when I thought I had had enough of this supernatural mumbo-jumbo, I was compelled to read the 640+ ghosts stories on this site, and was fascinated, yet truly scared-out-of-my-wits with all these "true accounts" of paranormal activity that were submitted by all these people from all over the country. Anyway, I've included the link to this site if anyone dares to go there, because it's not for the squeamish. I really couldn't sleep well last night as I read through all these stories of people's experiences with ghosts and such... but if you dare, go for it because it will be a fascinating "read", that's for sure!
