SATURDAY September 05, 1998 Saturday Night Special My wife and I took advantage of the fact that I didn't have a gig tonight with the band. We went to an early movie at the Hillcrest Cinemas, a place in town where they feature Independent and Foreign movies. Before the actual movie started, we went next door to the nearest Starbucks for some coffee, before going inside the movie theater. We saw a movie called 'Next Stop, Wonderland' starring Hope Davis. It's a light-hearted romantic comedy about a young lady who's just been dumped by her live in boyfriend, and details her days prior to meeting her true love. Afterwards we took out some Thai food from a great local Thai Restaurant simply called Thai House. We took our food home and ate our late dinner while watching The Best of Dan Akroyd---Saturday Night Live. Some of those older SNL shows are actually funnier than the newer stuff that came out.
The exercise program seems to be working out pretty well. After working out on the treadwill for 10 minutes, I work with free weights, do crunches and pushups, and some stretching exercises.
