the alpine concert
Sunday is usually a day of rest for me. I'd been feeling exhausted from the events of the last few days, especially the gig Friday in Las Vegas for the Frank Sinatra party at The Hard Rock Cafe. Well we still had another gig today in Alpine, a community east of San Diego in the foothills, about 30-40 minutes from downtown San Diego. My wife and I left about 5:30pm and arrived there promptly at 6:00pm. This outdoor venue usually has a pretty large crowd of enthusiastic folks. We played this same gig last year. |
