JW dictionary: UNDER CONSTRUCTION

There are many words or references used by the Jehovah's Witness that may be confusing to those who are not familiar with the religion. Many ex-JW's still use these words or phrases as they are so engrained in their vocabulary, this list will help you to understand the context or reference. disfellowshipp
(ing, ed, s)
 
the act of casting out an individual from the religion.
Members who are disfellowshipped or disassociated are subjected to shunning from friends, family and peers from the religion.
"the truth"
how members refer to the religion
"the world"
refers to everyone and everything outside the enclave of witnesses
word whiskers
a phrase for repetition of words or sounds (such as, a, er, um, like) when giving public presentations
Kingdom Hall
 
the building where the group congregate for worship, services, meetings.
