 On post JW life:
Where do we go now from here? How do we go about making new friends or meeting partners?
The best advice I have is to start on yourself, discover you and find out who you are, what you like. Learn to know you. Then you will have the confidence and knowledge to attract others who share your interests.
Take classes, if there's anything you've ever wanted to learn take it. Check out community classes, fitness, sports, cooking, languages, etc. Don't feel you have to explain yourself to everyone either. ExJw's have been in a very different environment then most people and we know this, it does make us stand out a bit or at least in our own minds we stand out. When people start getting close to you then it's a good time to maybe share about your past, it may also help those close to you understand you better.
