Acylphosphatase (ACP) is a low molecular weight enzyme (about 10 KDa) catalyzing the hydrolysis of acylphosphates such as succinyl phosphate, 1,3-biphosphoglycerate, carbamoylphosphate and ß-aspartyl-phosphate membrane pump intermediate. Our studies are focussed on ACP from extremophiles.
