| BASIC AGREEMENT 1) Five (5) Year Contract, July 1, 2005 - June 30, 2010. a. Annual 3% step increase b. Maintenance of current benefits 2) Positions in the two lowest salary levels will be raised by $500/year, effective upon approval of this contract. 3) A one (1) % COLA will be paid for FY 2005-2006, retroactive to July 1, 2005. a. Future annual COLA and/or bonus negotiations will take place within two (2) weeks after the Governor signs the State budget or September 15th, whichever comes soonest. 4) Introductory period will again be six (6) months with all relevant benefits and leaves accruing from date of hire except for jury duty. [The six (6) month introductory period will not apply to any current employee.] 5) Integration of Personal Leave and Vacation into Paid Time Off (PTO). a. Employees will accrue PTO starting January 1, 2006 but will still receive five (5) Personal Days on January 1, 2006. b. The cap on accumulating PTO will be increased for each employee by five (5) days for a period of eighteen (18) months starting January 1, 2006. |
