Numerology is the study of numbers, and the occult manner in which they reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an integral part of the cosmic plan. Each letter has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and the sum of value derived from the letters in the name provide an interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about character, purpose in life, what motivates, and where talents may lie. Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or relocate. I'm not claiming that this website is going to make an expert of you so that all these questions can be answered, but we can at least get you on the way.
Many believe the history of numerology goes back more than 10,000 years. Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician who live from 569-470 B.C., is said to be the originator of much of what we call numerology today. I suspect more has been written on the subject in this century than in all of the preceding thousands of years.
Numerology is perhaps the easiest of the occult arts to understand and use. All you need is the birth date and the complete name of an individual to unlock all of the secrets that the numbers hold.
There are eleven numbers used in constructing Numerology charts. These numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 22. Larger numbers that occur from adding the numbers in the complete birth date or from the values assigned to each name, are reduced by adding the digits together until the sum achieved is one of the core numbers. Merely add the components of the larger number together (repeatedly, if necessary) until a single digit (or the "master" numbers 11 or 22) results. Each of these number represents different characteristics and expressions.
Master number are the only exception to rule of reducing to the single digit.
The master numbers 11 and 22 are intensified versions of the single digit
number they replace (2 and 4). These numbers suggest a potential for a high
degree of learning and/or achievement very often in a more stressful
environment. In many individuals, the master numbers operate at a much more
tangible or practical level, becoming essentially the same as the single digit
parallel.

Webster's defines vibration as the to and
fro motion of an object when displaced from the resting position, as in
transmitting sound, as well as the emotional qualities or supernatural
emanations that are felt by another. That same source defines numerology
as the study of the occult (hidden) significance of numbers and letters.
In analyzing one's name and date of birth, numerology is a tool to help
us understand the Eternal OM and our place in it.
Numerology has been attacked for going against the laws
and teachings of God. In fact, just the reverse is true. The Bible, the
Talmud, the Koran, even the Egyptian Book of the Dead, have alluded to
numbers in ways that require interpretation by people of wisdom.
Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet of Virginia Beach, was
able to read the Akashic Records. It is said that every sound, thought
and vibration since the beginning of time is registered on these records,
including the first sound vibration which called forth manifestation. Cayce
in his readings brought out information on past lives that was useful in
present incarnations, helping people regain health and conduct their lives
in more constructive patterns. Cayce confirmed the validity of astrology,
pointing out. however, that in many instances, astrology does not account
for past life experiences that bear significantly on the present. Numerology,
on the other hand, goes directly to past lives and the soul's place in
evolution.
When asked about the validity and significance of numerology,
Cayce had this to say:
Each entity, each soul is known in all the experience
through its activities - as a name to designate it from another. It is
not only then a material convenience but it implies ... a definite period
in evolution of the experience of the entity in the material plane.
As related to individuals these each vibrate to
certain numbers according to their name, their birth date ... then when
these appear, they become either as strengths or as losses or as helps
or as change ... but ... they are rather as the signs, or the omens; and
may be given as warnings ... in any manner that they may be constructive
in the experience of the individual.
