This module started as an idea I had after reading "Time's Eye" by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter. The premise wass that there are these alien spheres that have shown up, at the same time the world's timelines have shifted... leaving some pockets of civilization. I began thinking that I'd create a world in game that put different civilizations in contact.
I have been working on an area based upon the Arthurian theory that the original King Arthur is from Wales. This mainly comes from reading the Mabinogion, which is a collection of stories from Wales which is the first mention of Arthur in history. The more involved I get with the history and folklore the more I put into the module and starting on the other cultures required to make the mod even remotely like the "Time's Eye" idea would be exhausting. Although I can tell you that my brother has been working on Rome and some areas of the orient. His work looks good and it is our intent to have them combined at some point in time. I've been creating the land marks and cities, and adding quests of which there are four complete quests with two more about 75% finished. I also added the functionality of FastFrench's NWN-MySQL database which will add greater persistance to the module.
I added the NESS spawning system, implementation has already begun. There are hak-paks used these are the CEPv1.51, the CEP Companion, The Arnaden hak, the Arnaden hak also has a .2da update link on the page and I added that to module as well. *NEW* Tales of the Mabinogion now has a new dedicated website!!

- Lord of the Rings mod
- This module project came about as my brother and I were playing on server running a slightly modified version of this LOTR module. We had started to do work that consisted of building the city of Dol Amroth and the regions of southern Gondor. We took to putting the newly created city and the routes to get you there into the mod, in doing this we came up with all sorts of tweakes, fixes, new areas and such that we now have our own expanded version of the LOTR v8, the original is posted on Neverwinter Vault right here.
