spoiled, don't read! It takes place after Sexual healing so a lot of
mentioning of the other episodes are in here. Plus Tess is in here, so maybe
its a foreshadowing of "Crazy". I don't know. haha.

***part 8***
I walk back into my house with happy thoughts about Micheal.... even though I
knew that whatever we wanted to have was not possible. If not, now is not the
time to be romantically involved. But I do like the fact that he came to me
to take him back, he never does that usually. I ran back into my room and
speed-dialed liz...
*ring ring*
"Hello..." Liz answered.
"Hey Liz.."
"Oh, Maria. Hi.." She didn't seem too happy..
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"How come you never told me...? You know, about your powers." Liz asked.
"I don't know. I just found out like today..."
"But you should've told me as soon as you found out..."
"I did...in Isabel's room. You all found out at the same time, I wouldn't NOT
tell you something." I assured her.
"Right..." She answered quietly.
"Liz, are you ok? You sound so distant...did I do something?"
"No, not really. It's just I've been thinking..."
"...about max right?"
I cut her off because I knew exactly what she was thinking about.
"Yeah....How do you know? Is it like your new alien powers?" She asked.
"Uh, nO! I'm your best friend and I've known you since like forever,Liz. What
does my powers have to do with anything. Plus, they're not really powers. I
can only connect with other aliens but I do need a whole lotta practice .Just
listen, even if I'm kinda different now, that doesn't change anything
between us.." I explained.
"Yeah, I understand. But I feel so bad and guilty for not trusting
Tess...It's like she died for us."
"Lizzie Liz, you had no idea. I hated her too but you had every right to hate
her because she was taking Max away from you. It's only normal to just hate
her..."
"Do you think Max feels bad, too?" She asked.
"To be honest, everyone does. Like I said, it's only normal."
"But no, i meant that if what we assume is true, that Tess was pregnant too
with Max's child. It means he lost more than her but also his baby..."
"Oh I never thought of it that way...."
I never even remembered that Tess was pregnant or could have been. So she
risked herself and her baby's life to save us all.
"Maria, I've had a long day. I'm gonna go to bed now. You should sleep too."
"Yeah, I know. Did I tell you that my mom asked Micheal to stay for dinner?"
"NO! Really? When?" She sounded interested...
"Today....it was very touching. But we should get to sleep now. I'll tell you
more tomorrow ok?"
"Ok, sweet dreams, Maria."
"Good night, Liz." Then we hung up. I went to take a bath with a load of
bath bubble balls. It was very relaxing. Then its off to bed...
I woke up the next morning in a happier note. The sun was shining brightly
and the birds were chirping. When I got to school, everything seemed so
normal but yet, I felt so different. I was actually becoming scared that
people will find out who I am, about WHAT I am now. So THIS is what it was
like to be Isabel, Max, and Micheal.
During lunch, Alex, Liz, Max, Micheal, and Me were sitting together at our
usual table. It was an awkward silence as we all were eating. What were we
supposed to say? So many things happened yesterday... My train of thought was
interrupted when Isabel walked over to a table in short and quick paces. She
grabbed Alex's neck and as he turned around, she KISSED him on the lips. The
thought sickens me since he just ate a big bean burrito and lotsa garlic
bread. The kiss totally took him off his feet but he grasped back into
reality...
"What was that for?" He asked looking up at her.
"You mean you didn't like it?" She asked faking a pout.
"No, it's just..." He got lost in his own thoughts.
Isabel sat down in between Max and Alex. She was smiling...way too much.
There must be something happening again, I think.
"You guys, I'm NOT pregnant anymore." She said, grinning
.
"How do you know? Are you sure?" Liz asked...
"I'm 100% sure. I took like all these tests and it said negative." Isabel
answered.
"Maybe it was a false alarm, maybe you were never pregnant to begin with." I
said.
"No, Maria. I felt something growing inside of me. I knew I was pregnant.
It's like since last night, the feeling disappeared." She said.
"Do you think it could link to Tess in anyway?" Max asked.
"Yeah, I think so. Max, you and Tess were pre-destined to be together and I
was to be with Micheal..." She said.
When she said Micheal and "I", it made me want to hurl.
"But when she died, she broke the cycle or something. She changed our destiny
and so, everything that was supposed to happen is not going to happen
anymore. So now Max has to find another mate to replace Tess." She continued.
Max immediately looked at Liz and smiled.
"But that doesn't break our thing does it?" Micheal asked.
"I think it does. I mean, we're all linked in one way or another." Isabel
said.
"So, does this mean I still get to be your sugar daddy?" Alex asked...
"If I can be your sugar momma..." Isabel snickered.
"Ok, you guys can stop. That's gross." Max said.
Max reached out to hold onto Liz's hand. But she pushed it away. I sat there
amazed that she just did that. Was she completely going nuts?
"What's wrong, Liz?" Max asked, with a worried look on his face.
"You think that since Tess died, and this cycle thing is gone, that you can
come back to me? Am I being used again?"
"No..."
"So if Tess was still alive and pregnant, would you want to be with me?" Liz
asked.
"I always want to be with you, Liz."
Liz started to blush and her tense-ness began to die down. I knew the Max/Liz
argument wouldn't last long because they were too in love with each other to
be arguiing like me and Micheal. Is Micheal in love with me like that? But
bickering at each other has been like our motto. Micheal and I had a
love/hate relationship where Max and Liz have something else. Alex and Isabel
never took eyes off of each other for a second. Then again, they had that
sugar daddy love thing which I don't quite understand.
After last period, I walked to the parking lot with Micheal and Alex.
"Hey, do you two need a ride?" I asked.
"Sure, De Luca." Alex said as he opened my car door and went in even though
Micheal and I were still standing outside.
"Do you need a ride, Micheal?" I asked Micheal.
"Uh..ok. Why not?" Micheal said. Micheal sat in the front seat with me with
Alex in the back humming sappy love songs.
"You've got it bad, Alex." I said.
"Have what bad?" Alex asked.
"You're totally sprung on Isabel, It's so obvious." I said.
"I know. She's so cool and Wow..."
He said her name as if it was an honor to be able to even say her name. When
we finally got to his house, it looked like he was prancing to the front
door. That is one strange boy, i thought.
Back in the car, I drove slowly so that I can spend more time with Micheal.
"You're driving slow today." Micheal remarked with a grin.
"I don't want to get a ticket."
"You'll get a ticket if you keep driving this slow."
"Shut up. I'm trying to concentrate on the road."
"Whatever. I need to get home, ok?"
"Where do you think I'm going, you nerd." I snapped.
"If you don't drive any faster, I'm gonna walk home." He snapped back.
"Then walk home."
"What the hell is this about? I thought we were fine yesterday."
"You started it, Micheal. You and your stupid comments."
"You know you're really annoying, right?"
"Well, you should know that I wanna rip your eye balls out and feed them to
the dogs, right?"
"You're happy today, Maria." He said quietly
"What are you bulling about? Do I sound happy to you?" I snapped.
"You're yelling at me. That means everything is ok between us." He started
to smile.
"I guess." I smiled back.
"I love you, space girl." He looked over at me
"I love you, space boy." I said, blushing. It was the first time I ever said
the 3 words to a guy.
"Should we give US another try?" He asked looking away.
"If you want to.." I said.
"But I do."
"Then I guess we should try it out again, huh?"
When we finally got to his apartment, I leaned in for a goodbye kiss. This
time, I wanted my connection to work as I concentrated on him, on him alone.
Then suddenly, sparks were flying between us. These little sparkling lights
started to flicker between our lips...it was so amazing. Micheal opened his
eyes to see the amazing sight..
"Where did you learn how to do that?" He asked.
"It just happened..." I said.
I drove home and saw mom in the kitchen making herbal tea.
"Hey mom.." I said as I put my bag and books on the chair.
"Hi dear...How was your day?"
"Good..."
"I was thinking about that Micheal Boy..."
"You were? Why?"
"I wanted to know if you two would mind going with Jim and I to dinner."
"Jim?"
"Yea, Jim Valenti..."
"I don't think that's such a good idea, Mom."
"Oh, if you don't want to, that's fine.." She went back to making her herbal
tea without looking at me. She looked hurt. So I gave in...
"Mom, how about this? I'll ask Micheal ok?"
"All right. You go ahead, honey. Just try to come. It's important." She said.
"Ok, mom."
I wonder how I'm supposed to tell Micheal that he is going to go on a double
date with me and my mom and the SHERIIFF. He's going to freak out.......
